Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between your Luxe Collection and your classic human hair?
Both are fine textured high-quality human hair, but our Luxe Collection pieces are the finest virgin ponytails we're able to hand-select, left completely natural. These are the rarest ponytails we ever come across and you won't find them from many other wig brands. Our classic hair is beautiful and right for most women; the Luxe Collection is for those who want the very finest texture.
Why is the Luxe Collection more expensive, and released in limited quantities?
Because ultra-fine virgin ponytails of this quality are genuinely rare — we can only ever work with the small amount we're able to hand-select. That's why these pieces are released in small, limited drops. You're paying for the rarest, finest hair available, and when you find the one that's yours, it truly is one of a kind.
Is virgin fine textured hair really worth the investment?
If you have tried wigs or toppers before and found the hair texture didn't feel you because your own hair was ultra fine, then yes. Our classic collection is stunning too, but the Luxe hair is for the women who have been looking for that ultra fine hair.
Does it have a natural wave, or is it straight?
As each piece is unique, the hair will sometimes be silky and straight, other times it will be wavy or have a curl. The finer texture hair is lighter in weight, and often has a bit more fluff than the stronger classic collection hair. You can style straight or curled with hot tools, but curls will not last as long as with our classic hair.
Can I color or tone virgin hair?
Yes, as it is virgin hair it colors beautifully and it can be lightened unlike our colored pieces. As the hair is so finely textured it will color very quickly, so only ever use a professional experienced with virgin hair and wigs.
What colors does the collection come in?
Because virgin hair is completely untreated, the range is naturally limited to the gorgeous shades the hair comes in on its own — soft, natural tones you simply can't replicate with color. It's a smaller, more exclusive selection by nature, which is part of what makes each piece feel so special.
Does virgin hair last longer than processed human hair?
Not necessarily. Virgin hair has the benefit of never being damaged by lightening or coloring. But as this hair is ultra fine textured, it is a delicate hair type. Unlike colored hair that will require more frequent recoloring, this hair will keep its original color, only fading slightly with direct sunlight, just like real hair would. With gentle, regular care, a virgin hair piece typically lasts around 1 - 2 years. As with all our pieces, how long it lasts comes down to how often you wear it, how you store it, and how kindly you treat it.
Why is it released in limited quantities?
Simply because hair this fine and this rare can never be mass-made. We can only ever work with the small amount of beautiful virgin hair we're able to hand-select, so these pieces are released in small, limited drops. When you find the one that's yours, it truly is one of a kind. These pieces can not be pre-ordered or custom ordered.
Is it available as both wigs and toppers?
Currently our virgin hair pieces come in our classic lace wig cap, our lace toppers and occasionally our silk toppers.
Can I see it in person at your boutiques before buying?
Absolutely, and we'd love that. You're welcome to visit us at either of our boutiques — Sydney, Australia or Doral, Florida — to see and feel the hair for yourself and be fitted in person. If you can't make it in, we also offer free virtual consultations, so you never have to choose alone.
